Give Parents a Break

Let us entertain your kids, while you take a few hours off!
The Give Parents a Break program is funded by the Air Force Aid Society and provides childcare for eligible parents who are subject to unique stresses due to the nature of military life: including deployments, extended TDYs, or recent PCSs.
Eligible parents may receive free childcare, with a referral from the Military & Family Readiness Center. Parents must apply for reimbursement on the AFAS Portal.
Parent’s Day/Night Out runs concurrently with Give Parents a Break. Care is provided to all other base families without a referral at a rate of $32 per child (on a space available basis.)
Sign up online in your CYP-BMS account by 2 December.
