Unite Program
Creating Unit Cohesion Through Recreation
The Unite program provides Commanders with funding to initiate recreational programs that will benefit and strengthen the bond between all Airmen in their unit including assigned Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, and APF/NAF Civilians.
Unit commanders may authorize Unite funds to cover spouse and family member participation in approved Unite events. If funding is not provided, spouses and family members may still participate, but they must pay any associated fees.
Goals
- Increase esprit de corps, camaraderie, morale, resilience, and retention
- Promote interaction between unit members
- Provide an opportunity for fun, relaxation, or physical fitness
- Reinforce peer, squadron, and Air Force core values
